"A flute without a hole is not a flute, and a donut without a hole is a danish." This quote from the great sarcastic comedy "Caddyshack" is the kind of thing that makes me laugh and think at the same time. My blog will be filled with posts about a variety of subjects from music, movies, and sports to random observances from my day to day life. I hope at least one person reads them and is inspired, humored, or maybe even offended.
I was already a fan before I saw this story. Now, I am a BIG fan. What an amazing perspective or a very young player who is just getting started. After watching this, who isn't routing for this guy to have a long, productive career that lives up to his rookie hype and expectations. He is already off to a great start, and who knows, maybe he can take the number twenty-two Atlanta Braves jersey all the way to Cooperstown one day. I know. I know. It's early. But, I think there is something special about this kid.
I live in Carrollton, GA. I am a graduate of Oglethorpe University (Political Science) and the University of West Georgia (Secondary Education). I work for a medical technology company. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis and golf, painting, learning to play the guitar, and exploring new areas when a free weekend or summer vacation allows.
